The X-M1 was the only M line camera produced. In fact, on the corporate page you won't even find the M line. I think the X-E2 along with cost saving measures lead to it's untimely demise. Sure the torch was carried on by it's cheaper bayer array cousin the X-A1, but without the x-trans it just isn't the same.
Back to the X-M2
I'm all for the X-M2. I'm thinking a cross between the X-A7, the X-E3 and throw a little bit of the x100V in there too. The X-trans is a no brainer. Tilt screen, premium build body, and the kicker.... a pop up OVF! Bam! Sorry flash, but I never knew you...
